| Abstract [eng] |
This paper examines the integration of renewable energy sources (RES), particularly solar and wind power plants, into power systems and their impact on electricity quality. It analyzes how modern distributed generation technologies, influenced by variable conditions and connected to distribution networks, alter power flows and voltage levels, while also introducing additional challenges related to reactive power demand and harmonic distortions. The paper also reviews the current political goals of the European Union – the implementation of the Green Deal and the pursuit of climate neutrality – and their connection with the Lithuanian Energy Strategy. |
