This master’s final project examines the features of coil systems structures intended for the electric vehicles’ accumulators’ wireless charging. By using numerical modelling, the impact that ferrite bases of different forms have on coupling coefficient of various coil systems was analyzed. This research is relevant in order to evaluate coil structures’ coupling coefficients and mutual inductance – parameters that determine the effectiveness of wireless connection systems. In this project, square, DD and DDQ type coil systems were modeled and analyzed. To evaluate impact of ferrite insertion on mutual inductance and coupling coefficient, a numerical modelling environment „Comsol Multiphysics“ was used. In addition, the weights of various coil structures were calculated. |
