Abstract [eng] |
This master thesis work involves the modern design of a microcantilever sensor for glucose detection. The microcantilever model consists of a thin polymer material and one side is anchored with the microchamber. In the other end the piezoelectric material is connected to the electrical elements and free to move and its activated through the electrical elements. The microcantilever maybe situated in the microchamber and filled with the sensing solutions like protein Con-A and Dextran, and the fluid glucose is stored outside the polymer membrane. Blood glucose level(BGL) is measured from the microcantilever vibration level. Vibration is measured when the viscosity changes occur in glucose fluid and the sensing solutions concentration. The changes of viscosity in the sensing solutions the cantilever is vibrating depends upon the Glucose level in the interstitial fluid At first, to perform analysis of new type of microcantilever should be introduced in glucose detection sensor, which is related to electrical excitation. to build a mathematical model for vibrating cantilever used for glucose detection in COMSOL MULTIPHYSICS library. To derive an equation for model analysis of vibrating cantilever in theoretical and practical means, and to perform finite element analysis(FEM) of proposed cantilever for future work. And to analyse the experimental setup and analysis of cantilever. |
