| Abstract [eng] |
The Master’s thesis investigates possibilities of refining scrap plastics (polyethylene, polypropylene, ethylene propylene diene monomer rubber and polystyrene) to value added products. It is estimated that in Lithuania the waste plastics yields 30000 tons each year which generally are disposed in the landfills or incinerated. The thesis proposes the other and more profitable way to refine them to gasoline, jet, diesel and fuel oil components for the manufacture of commercial products atAB „ORLEN Lietuva“ refinery. |
