In the beginning of the work there was looked into femur anatomical and biomechanical properties, femur fracture types and treatment methods. More detailed view was made in femur treatment with metal bone plates – reviewed bone plates materials, fixing methods, main properties (shape, dimensions), excluded complication, that occurs in femur fracture treatment with metal bone plates. For the strength analysis of the femur osteosynthesis plate was created methodic of the plate and femur models preparation from the computer tomography scan data, set up few analysis models (with the different shaped plate and different plate fixing technique to the bone) and performed stress-strain analysis with finite element method software ANSYS. First was analyzed plate bend (preshaping bone plate to the bone during operation preparation) angle influence for the femur-plate system strength – with the same analysis settings was performed six tests using bended plate with six different bend angles. In the second analysis stage, analyzed plate fixture influence for femur-plate system strength – tests performed fixed plate to the bone with three different techniques. The 55 pages Master graduate work consists of the introduction, 3 chapters and conclusion. It also contains 24 positions references list, 46 pictures, 5 diagrams and 7 tables. |
