Abstract [eng] |
The influence of shadowing effect for the signal losses of 4G+ cellular technology in microcells behind the buildings in the residential district was investigated. The patterns of shadowing effect were observed from experiment results in this work. The analysis of shadowing effect was carried out by using log-normal shadowing model and probability density functions. It was found that log-normal shadowing model can not be used for the analysis of shadowing effect behind the buildings. A new model based on stochastic differential equations was proposed. This model can be used to evaluate signal path losses behind the buildings for 4G+ cellular technology. The limitations of the new model were presented. The proposed model can be useful for the development of the shadowing effect prediction models in microcells for 5G technology. |
