Abstract [eng] |
In this research the distance measurement accuracy using image processing is analyzed. The different methods of the distance measurement are investigated by using the different number, namely one or more, of cameras, changing the positions and the angles of movement of cameras, and the real size of the object. The purpose of this research is to analyze the precision while using different ways of the measurement, to calculate the error ratios and to explain the reasons why they occurred. There are chosen three methods of the distance measurement. The first one is stereoscopic, which means that the distance to the object is measured by using the distance between two cameras, the previous distance is then analyzed in regard to the effect made to accuracy of the measurement and the error ratios. The second method of the measurement to object is chosen by using the real width of the object. By this method, the measurements are compared by analyzing the image processing – resolution and the distance to the object. Lastly, the third method of the measurement is investigated by using the position of the camera and its angles of the movement, and the comparison is made between the effects on the accuracy, which were made by the position and the angles of the camera. In the conclusion the measurement methods, namely accuracies, error ratios and their causes are analyzed. |
