The objective of this work is to analyse the tendances of renewable energy in Lithuania, to compare autonomous solar and wind power – plants by the method of comparative analysis, to compare both power – plants with electricity grid. In the analysis of the problem is researching actual problem to the whole world. For the reason of the changing climate it is necessary to change fossil fuel to renewable energy. In this work by the theoretical method are analysed the sorts of renewable energy, their present usage and their potentiality in the future. In the research of this work is employed comparative analysis method, there are evaluated autonomous solar and wind power – plants, there is find which one of the power – plants is more efficient and more beneficial by the economic aspect.
