Abstract [eng] |
The goal of this final Masters work is to analyse data transmission using the ultrasonic waves and determine the parameters and their influence on the transmission accuracy. In this work, the analysis of ultrasonic wave propagation characteristics in a water medium, presenting the main issues affecting the data transmission is made. It includes review of current achievements in the field of ultrasonic data transmissions, discussion on the ultrasonic properties in the underwater environment by presenting most important parameters and comparison between them. An OFDM transducer and receiver models, components and principals of the operation are analysed. Using the model developed model, the simulation process is performed, examining the data propagation influence of the noise, the characteristics of ultrasonic transduces and errors in a simulated environment and presenting the results. Final paper consists of 6 parts: an introduction, characteristics of data transmission using ultrasonic waves, model of a data transmission using ultrasonic waves, data transmission simulation over a medium using ultrasonic waves, conclusions and list of references. |
