In order to transmit electric power over long distances or connect two asynchronous systems with different operating parameters, it is increasingly used High-Voltage Direct Current transmission systems. High-Voltage Direct Current are known for lot of advantages such as reducing the transmission losses. On the other hand, one of main disadvantage is that inverters generate harmonics. In this final Master Degree thesis, High-Voltage Direct Current transmission system was modelled in MATLAB Simulink software and analysed harmonics. In this model was used three types of filters: filters from LitPol Link system, filters form very similar system as LitPol Link by Siemens, calculated filters. Filters efficiency is measured with Total Harmonic Distortion. All scopes are shown in the end of this thesis. |
