Abstract [eng] The present Master Thesis presents an analysis of capability of Achema, AB energy system to operate in isolation from the external power system. The specifics of the company’s 110 kV power grid scheme were evaluated, reference loads and their variation trends are determined by applying statistical methods. An analysis of potential coverage of the existing loads by local energy generation sources and control of electrical parameters is carried out. The Matlab/Simulink software package was used to create mathematical models of the existing SGT800B gas turbine. Ziegler-Nichols, Tyreus-Luyben tuning methods were used to determine particular parameters of the controller for the frequency regulation system. The system is researched applying the determined parameters of the controller, as well as the ones proposed by the manufacturer. The achieved results are used to select the optimal parameters of the frequency controller.
