Alternating current transmission systems getting closer to its technological limit also the rapidly growing demand for electricity energy have triggered the interest in new technology development. One of the new technologies is the High Voltage Direct Current transmission system which enabling economically transmit large amounts of electrical energy. The main purpose of the final master project is to model and analyze High-Voltage Direct Current transmission system that connects the offshore wind power park with the main power grid. System investigation results include “MATLAB/Simulink“ model and dynamic characteristics. |
