The aim of this project – is to explore natural gas transportation changes in Panevėžys city. Set natural gas losses, which company “Energijos skirtymo operatorius” would experience without using “RAVETTI” equipment. The final project consists of two sections. First chapter explores the theoretical part of the pipeline transportation. Stands out pipeline transport – transportation of gas. An overview of the literature, in which gas supplying systems. steel and polyethylene gas properties are being presented. Functioning steel pipeline section isolation equipment ”RAVETTI” operating scheme is being presented. The second chapter covers natural gas transportation changes in Panevėžys city. Calculation was being made according to natural gas loss formulas, how much company incurred losses without using “RAVETTI” equipment. Investigation is being made for the selected Panevėžys city residential neighborhood, which has 7 km of gas pipeline. Calculated losses are low and medium pressure, when gas pipeline diameter is from 50 mm up to 300 mm. It was found, that “RAVETTI“ equipment pays off in 2- 4 years for the company. |
