Abstract [eng] Pyrolytic graphite is diamagnetic material, which placed in a magnetic field will levitate at room temperature. Because of its properties pyrolytic graphite’s vertical and horizontal positions can be controlled by a laser irradiation. This levitation control depends on magnetic field, laser beam and pyrolytic graphite properties. In this project “Comsol 5.2” calculations and experimental data to analyze properties of levitation control by laser irradiation. Project results showed that pyrolytic graphite levitation depends on magnetic field density B of magnetic array. Levitation heights in range of 0,8 – 1,2 mm, can be achieved by using Halbach magnet array. Levitation height linearly depends on pyrolytic graphite plates thickness. Simulation of heat flow in pyrolytic graphite allowed us to calculate maximum transverse force (ΔF = 3,54 ∙ 10 -7 N) in 25 µm thick and 10 mm diameter plate after 500 mW laser irradiation.
