The main purpose of this final project is to explore banner technological design and carry out the effectiveness analysis of their usage. A fact-finding study has been conducted on the literature related to advertising and its effectiveness, as well as color influence on banners. The final project examined banner effectiveness using ‘SMI Technologies’ eye tracking technology. The research was performed in five different stages. First, banner research and collection has been performed. This was followed by the generation of research task, equipment preparation and calibration. Finally, research process was monitored and result findings and conclusions were gathered and prepared. Research results were analysed using ‘SMI Begaze’ software. The work also included quantitative banner effectiveness evaluation by carrying out number of online surveys, as well as qualitative research relating to banner effectiveness. The project also contains banner technological design, quality assurance methods and work safety measures and requirements. Final works part contains project financial and economic measurements – banner usage costs and expenses, overheads, return on investment, and project conclusions. |
