The thesis provides an overview of the reliability indices of electricity distribution network and their benefits to evaluate the reliability of electricity network. The selected subject of the thesis is Lithuanian regional electricity distribution network. The thesis gives an overview of failures and interruptions, the influence of surges on the electricity distribution network, and analyses the reliability indices used in Lithuania as well as their functions and reliability control methods. The thesis includes the evaluation of the efficiency of reliability indices as well as the economic calculations. |
