The aim of this work was to create the sustainable knitted clothing collection for children. There was overviewed last century knitted wearing fashion of children. To reach main goal, the author searched for the specific details, models that could be popular in our days and in a future. There have been researched alpaca wool properties. By using Martindale method, it was researched an alpaca wool propensity to fuzzing and to pilling. The collected data proofs, that alpaca wool is very resistant to fuzzing and to pilling after long time wearing. Moreover, it was proposed a business strategy to create sustainable alpaca wool clothes for children. Firstly, because of many great properties the knitted clothing was popular since 20th century beginning till now. Secondly, the alpaca wool properties let clothes to be long time wearing. Finally, classical patterns let clothes to be popular for a long time. The expectation is to create such knitted clothes for children, that could be a family relic. |
