In the final master's project, mechanical properties of the coated textile materials and polymeric film are investigated in order to determine whether they are suitable for commercial use and meet standard requirements of strength. References concerning the assortment of coated textile materials and polymeric film as well as their application areas, and the research works analysing the mechanical behaviour of coated materials and polymeric films together with the factors influencing them were reviewed. Work methodology describes material structure characteristics, uniaxial tensile, tear strength and punch deformation testing methods. Real exploitation conditions of the investigated materials were simulated applying them. |
