Abstract [eng] |
In this topic, a number of subjects were discussed, regarding combined heat and power (CHP) plants such as the means of generating heat and power, as well as its value for current energy sector. One biomass CHP plant has been chosen in order to construct its computational scheme (model) and use it to determine plant efficiency. Significant part of the model led not only to evaluation of equipment of given plant but to see and predict the working loads for the plant at any given condition as well. Number of steps had been carried out until the model was finished, i.e. choosing the algorithm for calculations referring to number of studies, each part of power plant equipment was evaluated individually using heat energy, mass and hydraulic balance theories. Calculations of efficiency and fuel consumption were also used. In the analysis, calculated subjects were efficiency coefficients and their derivatives such as fuel consumption, steam generation and potential reserve of generated electricity and heat. Using given algorithm and model not only the plants feasibility could be evaluated but it could also be used in order to predict plants working rate at any given time. The tool also could be of use in CHP plant design process. |
