Abstract [eng] Exchange rates and their changes is a risk for investors. Especially if it concerns international trade participants. In order to explain the influence that the exchange rate and changes to the market has on the national economy, you have to take the simplest example with regards to Lithuania. Lithuania’s exchange market turnover reached 200 billion in 2006, which means that the average gross foreign exchange market turnover in 2006 amounted to more than 800 million litas per working day. These numbers began to decline in 2015 after the introduction of the euro in Lithuania. Currency market risk is particularly relevant for all multinational companies that do settlements or receive income in foreign currency. The revenue or costs for these companies for future deals is only a forecast but not accurate. Therefore, investors can suffer significant losses, which are necessary to minimize. If to summarize this, the currency market is the largest and most dynamic market in the world. For many of us – our main activity and income area is during various speculations in the market. We seek to earn income from exchange rate fluctuations. .
