Literature review about contact spot welded joints was made in this Masters final work before research. Research on how stress state depends on welding depth, weld width, metal sheet thickness, weld distance from sheet metal edge and amount of welds in contact spot welded lap joint with inner and outer weld was made. Finite elements method and SolidWorks Simulation program were used. Research results identify that maximum stresses would appear in weld when sheets of metal are pulled one from another. In the most loaded zone of welded joint stresses are few times larger in the inner weld than in the outer weld. |
