Master thesis deals with issues related to networks in the implementation of changes relevant to all organisations acting in the context of globalization and striving to meet increasing consumer expectations. It is noted that while society needs of public service quality are rapidly increasing and it aims to ensure implementation of basic principles in modern public governance, there are necessity to modernize public sector. Therefore, it is seeking to find new tools and capabilities to implement changes in organizations. In today's network environment becomes a major structural form, when modern organization management, effective pursuit of a common goal and joint problem-solving requires wider coverage and implementation through networking. Object of the thesis - expression of networks in the implementation of changes in organization. For the specification of analysis, the subject of the thesis - case study of National paying agency under the Ministry of agriculture. The aim of the study – to assess expression of networks in the implementation of changes in organization. To achieve this aim, the following objectives presented in three parts of the work have been set: the first part of the work introduces the theoretical insights of organizational changes and analyzes processes and models of change implementation; the second part of the work conceptualises field of the network, highlighting the influence of networks to successful changes in organization; the third part of the work presents results of the combined research (by applying the strategies of quantitative and qualitative analyses) and introduces a prepared model for implementation of changes, helping to enable networking processes. To achieve the aim and the objectives of the thesis, the following methods were used: analysis of scientific literature, case study (National Paying Agency under the Ministry of Agriculture), semi-structured interview (conducted with the head of regional units of the company researched), and questionnaire survey (conducted with workers of the company researched regional units). On the basis of the analysis of scientific literature and results obtained during the empirical study, the “Model for implementation of changes, enabling the procese of network ” is prepared. The model represents three stages of changes process in organization and their interaction in the field of network. The systematic model developed enables organizations to implement changes effectively and can be applied to other public governance organizations. |
