Health and its well-being are recognised as objectives at global level which are currently qualified as the fundamental human rights and constitute an important part of a balanced economic and social development, and represent our daily resources. Shaping correct health policy allows us to better protect health of citizens, ensure effective treatment of diseases and injuries, and develop healthy lifestyle skills. Restructuring of healthcare institutions enables us to setup a more efficient structure of health establishments and services. Scientific Novelty. There have been enough scientific publications in Lithuania addressing healthcare reforms to be able to analyse and draw conclusions. |
