The main purpose of this master thesis is to determine organizational culture elements, structural and manufacturing issues which there needed to make an influence to the company’s productivity and profitability by implementing Lean management methods in furniture manufacturing company. The work consists of five main parts: the analysis of literature, Lean quality management processes overview, Lean method implementation methodology, production processes research part, conclusion and recommendations. Theoretical literature proves that Lean system is related to quality and other value adding elements improvement as well. The problem analyzed in the Master’s final thesis – how to implement Lean system for continuous quality and quantity improvement and sustainable manufacturing in furniture manufacturing company. |
