Constantly increasing consumer needs encourage looking for new markets as well as the growth of import and export. When international trade is increasing, companies can encounter currency risk. This risk includes loss when transactions are concluded and executed on different times and the currency exchange rate alters a transaction amount. Export companies often do not invest enough time in currency risk management, however, the increasing scope of transactions and daily currency fluctuation stimulate trading participants to look for means to avoid financial loss due to exchange rate fluctuation. |
