In this paper after thorough investigation of the existing algorithms, two methods are considered for panorama images creation. SIFT, RANSAC and Correlation technique. SIFT Algorithm is used after feature extraction and feature matching and RANSAC method are used for outlier elimination. Whereas in Correlation technique, there is no feature extraction. It is based on a weighted average method to stitch the images together. This comparison is done to estimate the output quality parameters and the run-time to generate panoramic image implemented by the two methods. |
