Abstract [eng] |
In today's educational system the attention given to improve the skills of listening comprehension and to the development of tools that could be used to improve these skills is not sufficient. Usually, only the skills of speaking, reading or writing are studied (Jovaiša, 2001). However, the student's continued success in learning, reading, writing and speaking greatly depends on the basic skill of listening (Fulya, Bayar and Semra, 2009). It should be noted that we were unable to find any studies analysing the listening comprehension skills of primary-school-aged pupils in Lithuania. Therefore, the assessment of listening comprehension development methods applying digital learning tools is relevant in the improvement of contemporary educational practice. Since the development methods of 2nd grade pupils native language listening comprehension by applying digital learning tools is not appropriately developed, it is expedient to raise the following problematic research question: what methods should be applied for the development of 2nd grade pupils native language listening comprehension by applying digital learning tools? The object of the research: the development of 2nd grade pupils native language listening comprehension by applying digital learning tools. The aim of the research: to perform an assessment of 2nd grade pupils native language listening comprehension by applying digital learning tools development possibilities. |
