Abstract [eng] |
The research object of this Master thesis is the modular vocational training and its ability to learn distance. The aim of this work is to create a virtual environment of learning for modular training programmes and to prepare recommendations for vocational training centers how to organize modular learning programmes distance in order the learners were able to gain necessary competence combining learning with work and saving the virtual proof of obtained competence. This work is relevant to all vocational centers which prepare modular training programmes. The literature related to this subject was analyzed in this paper, the research of distance training necessity was made. The investigation has shown that the modular distance learning is relevant for most students, because those students usually combine studies with other activities. Therefore distance learning would increase the possibility to gain education. According to the literature that was analyzed the virtual learning environment Moodle was installed for vocational training centers, considering the peculiarities of modular training programmes the trail module was submitted and tested. The ePortfolio system Mahara was installed. The folders for fixing modules competence were tried to create. The evaluation of modular training was made, which revealed that the most of students are satisfied with virtual training environment and representation of distance module programmes. But it turned out that modular vocational training programmes should be provided both and distance and traditionally. The conclusion was made that there are opportunities to adjust vocational modular training programmes with distance training. But it is necessary to sort out the modules by content very clearly in order the students would find the right way among big substance of modules, themes and tests. Therefore the modules have topics. In order the remote training would be more convenient for the learners and teachers the recommendations for vocational training centers were made. |
