Abstract [eng] Fast growing popularity of smart devices increases their usage spectrum. The popularity of devices and hardware options increases possibility for new gateway – virtual reality (VR), which is currently one of the most rising technologies. However, a large part of the devices used for experiencing virtual reality are mobile phones with specially designed glasses. This means that resources are limited - especially phone battery. This document represents a software that allows users to share 360 degree videos on the internet platform. Also, using mobile application, which is targeted to “Samsung GearVR” virtual reality handset, users can watch all shared videos from internet platform in virtual reality. The document provides an analytical part of the work, where technologies that can help in implementing the project is analyzed and existing similar solutions discussed. It also provides system design part, which describes the architecture process and decisions. Experiments were carried out using a developed software to determine the most efficient rendering method and qualitative parameters for the virtual reality video broadcasting. Results were presented in the experimental part.
