The main purpose of the theses is to create a virtual learning environment for organizing distance cinema courses. The topic is related to the issues that cinema education in Lithuania currently experiences. Lack of professional instructors, high tuition fees, low level of acceptance are just few of the issues mentioned. Online cinema courses could help to solve these issues as cinema education would be available to bigger audiences, courses could be free of charge etc. The theses analyze cinema education system, tools and methods of organizing online education; also projects the virtual learning environment. After research, it was decided to base the projected environment on Mooc experience. Created environment can be accessed through the link kinokursai.lt. It was created using Wordpress and it is simple to use for students and for teachers as it was the main idea of environment. Also, important key is interactive content which can be created with H5P tool. Educational system was tested and results proved that it complies with the functional and non- functional requirements. |
