It has been said that the product's success in the market depends on how well the company's supply chain functions. One of the key conditions for that is an effective inventory management. In today's competitive market, customers are constantly pushing suppliers to lower their prices, while maintaining the same quality. Customers also expect fast delivery. Thus, an effective inventory management becomes not a distinctive competitive advantage. It's just a necessary feature in order to survive in the global market. Inventory management is coordinating processes of business entities associated with the company's available inventory in order to ensure efficient business operations with minimal money investments. Good inventory management is an important aspect of an effective management of information exploitation. This allows professionals to correctly decide what data to collect, as well as what software is the most useful in each case. Data is useless if used incorrectly. |
