Nowadays, organizations are faced with a variety of changes that take place due to the increasing competition in the business of globalization, consumer needs of the higher production and quality of services. In order to maintain a successful organization and value chain creation, it should consider not only financial information but also internal and external environment aspects. Public sector organizations need to effectively carry out its activities and make more improvement in performance. These results achievement require constant evaluation for public sector organizations. Authors of the foreign literature contain a number of articles that examines the performance measurement system and performance measurement in the public sector. However, there are few articles which provide and analyze Lithuanian performance measurement methods and application in the public sector. Aim of Research.
