Export is one of the main long-term sustainable economic growth factors to small countries such as Lithuania. It is because of the reason, that small countries most of the time have high and aggresive competition in the local market and do not have a lot of space for growth. Lithuanian food industry is not an exception and being one of the most important industries in Lithuanian economy it must be directed towards export activities. That is the reason why it is essential to find the main export success factors of Lithuanian food industry. Empirical research has shown that the main UAB “Mantinga” export to Western countries success factors are as follows: high total quality, product adaption strategy, overall flexibility, sustainable strategy, unique product, innovative technology, top-managament involvement to export activity and regular cooperation with foreign partners in R&D activity. |
