Master thesis analyzes students‘ satisfaction with master‘s degree studies at Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) through the lens of three dimensions: meeting students‘ expectations, creating additional value of studies for students and ensuring high quality studies provision. Because of the current tendencies to view a student as the main customer of higher education studies, universities have to ensure that students‘ opinions regarding the studies are heard. Therefore, universities should do continuous research on students‘ satisfaction and based on collected results look for possible ways to provide exceptional studies level that would lead to more satisfied students. Project Europe 2030, National Education strategy 2013 – 2022, and National Progress Programme 2014–2020 highlight the importance of higher education institutions to promote a culture of lifelong learning. In addition to this aim, it is neccessary to do reserch and evaluate master‘s degree students‘ satisfaction with higher education studies since master‘s degree studies consolidate an aspiration for lifelong learning. As a result, the main question of the research: what factors influence students‘ satisfaction with master‘s degree studies at KTU? |
