There will be mentioned different ways of modernization of apartment blocks, fundamental differences, advantages and disadvantages of these variants. There will also be mentioned the most important causes and dates of apartment blocks modernization. The second part provides an overview of the research methodology and the object. The reasearch is made in Naujoji Akmenė city, using thermal imaging camera. The object of research are apartment houses. Selected buildings in this work have different façades, but they are structurally the same. All houses are built from the solid silicate bricks. Buildings are located in N. Akmenė, V. Kudirka street, No. 3 (ventilated facade), V. Kudirka street, No. 1 (plastered facade), V. Kudirka street, No. 5 (still not renovated). The third part - reasearch. With the additional help of a program that provides to see what is the temperature of each part of the facade we explore all thermograms. Temperature generated with infrared camera is compared with theoretically calculated temperature. All calculations are presented. Then goes the conclusions. |
