Contruction industry pays a lot of attention to the research of innovative construction solutions in order to ensure a greater building constructions safety, reliability and durability. Concrete products are most often reinforced with the help of steel fixtures, but these can be also reinforced with composite polymer reinforcement that besides an enduring mechanical toughness is corrision resistant as well. Research part of the work contains calculations of the hollow core slabs with the steel fixtures, with the FRP reinforcement glass fibre and glass – basalt fibre reinforcement bars. Reinforced concrete strength, moment of resistance, deflection and cracking depending on: reinforcement bars and concrete elastic modulus ratio; slabs deflection: the maximum distance between tensile concrete cross – section cracks; the maximum crack width in the tensile concrete cross – section; reinforcement bars diameter 12-20 mm. Prices of composite glass fibre bars, composite glass – basalt bars and steel fixture bars are assessed in the thesis. |
