In this paper you will find analysis of widely applied construction materials. The analysed materials are: portland cement, large and small aggregates, water and plasticizer supplement. In addition to that, main characteristics of raw materials used in concrete are displayed in the analysis as well. Nowadays, two types of cements are used in concrete mixtures manufacturing - the CEM I 42.5 N and CEM II / A-LL 42.5 N- types of cement. Other fillings that are used in manufacturing of concrete mixures- the 4/16 mm fraction gravel and 0/4 mm fraction sand, superplasticizer of synthetic polycarboxylate polymer and water. The experimental part of this thesis investigates the features of concrete and determine the amount of plasticizer, which helps to improve the features of hardened concrete. This part also analyses how to select the optimal ingridients for concrete mixtures, how to formulate samples in accordance to the ingridients of mixture and how to investigate the properties of the samples according to the methodological materials, to present results and analyze them. The thesis consists of 5 parts: introduction, literature review, methodology, experimental part, conclusions and references. The scope of work - 43 pages, 12 illustrations, 3 tables, 17 bibliographical sources. |
