In modern medicine there are recognized that the results of health care don‘t depend only on how doctors use their medical knowledge practicaly but also how do they use their skills and abilities, for example: how effectively they manage to control their resources, medical documents, accept and process information flows. Each heatlh care company providing health care service is interested to ascertain the quality of service and identify ways of increasing them. The problem of this work can be formulated in a problematic way: what is the quality of health care service according to doctors attitude and their improvement opportunities in Utena Primary Health Care Centre. The aim-to investigate and evaluate the quality of health care service in Utena Primary Health Care Centre and to intend the ways of increasing of these services-there are implemented three objectives: there is analyzed scientific literature and revealed the point of quality of health care service and its determinants; investigated the quality of heath care evaluation models and methods; investigated the quality of health care service in Utena Primary Health Care Centre. The work consists of introduction, three chapters, conclusions and recommendations. In the first chapter, there are presented the results of scientific literature analysis: revealed the point of health care service quality and its determinants, the quality of health care evaluation models and methods. In the second chapter, there are presented the oppinions of doctors about health care service quality, the research methodology, in Utena Primary Health Care Centre. In the third chapter, there are presented the results of quality of health care service. Doctors evaluation about service quality was good-technical and functional service quality were evaluated higher than average. The competence of workers and external efficiency of services were evaluated very well. |
