Abstract [eng] Aim. Examine the steel and wooden structures in determining the most appropriate option for warehouse - administrative buildings. Create technological cards of the optimal variation and another frame installation option for comparison. Solutions. The discussed building has been built in 44,701 m2 site, Kaunas district, Domeikava parish, Kumpiai village. The total area of the building - 9 247.44 m2, volume - 94 117.85 m2. To determinate the optimal frame variation, 4 different comparative possible configurations are created: assembly, metal building frame, reinforced concrete, metal building shell, mixed concrete, wood and steel frame building. Different design options are assessed according to the 5 criteria set: Durability; aesthetics; Degree of fire resistance; Material sustainability; Material price. The importance of subjective, theoretical and complex criteriuos are determined by applying TOPSIS, expert‘s opinion and criteria for significance by entropy methods. Administration - storage building construction problematic issues and prepares the rational frame design options. Themes to be addressed: - New industrial building design; - determination of optimal Bearing frame variant; - installation of Bearing frame technological cards; - construction price calculation; - construction management at site. Results. After evaluating the significances of criteria it has been revealed that the most important criterion is Degree of fire resistance. According to the proximity of the ideal point criteria (TOPSIS) it has been received that the best option for storage - administration buildings, is reinforced concrete and steel folding frame.
