| Abstract [eng] |
One of the main modern problems is the intensification of climate change, the increasing amount of emissions of greenhouse gases. In order to avoid the potentially catastrophic effects of climate change, the European Commission adopted the "Fit for 55" package of laws in 2021, the aim of which is to reduce carbon dioxide (hereinafter CO2) emissions by at least 55% compared to 1990. Aviation is one of the sectors polluting the atmosphere with CO2 gas, accounting for about 2.5% of the world's carbon dioxide emissions. Regulation 2023/2405, ReFuelEU Aviation, adopted by the European Commission, aims to decarbonize the aviation sector. According to Regulation 2023/2405, from January 1, 2025, aviation fuel suppliers will be required to add 2% sustainable aviation fuel (hereinafter SAF) to the general aviation fuel mixture, and from January 1, 2030, 6% TAK, which must contain at least 1 .2% of synthetic aviation fuel (hereafter E-JET). |
