The relevance of the research. Climate change is a huge threat to the world, so it is adressed on a global scale. United Nations National climate change convention is the most important document, which adressed the climate change wordwilde. The European Union is playing the leading role in the climate change politics formation. Its priority is to reduce greenhouse effect causing gases as much as possible. The European Union has commited to reduce the average air temperature to above than 2ºC. But in order to achieve that the European coutries have to independently implement the climate change commitment. The problem of the research. Because the climate is changing very rapidly, so the world, especially The European Union is trying to fight the climate change. The European Union has initiated a lot of legal documents and has commited the other nations to take action. One of those nations, which has commited for the climate change control, is Lithuania. In this paper we are analysing Lithuania's commitment execution climate change politics, institutional structural view. Research object. Analysis of National Policy Commitment and measures of Climate Change Implemen-tation in Lithuania in Aspect of Institutional Framework. The aim of the research. To perform an analysis about the climate change liabilities realization in Lithuania in institutional structural view. Objectives of the research: 1. To review the climate change politicies on the basis of political sciense and other social domain. 2. To analyze The United Nations climate change convention, Kyoto protocol, Paris agreement and other legal acts. 3. To analyze the European Unions climate change politicies. 4. To analyze Lithuanias climate change policy commitment and other related documents also to disclose that those commitments are carried out. 5. To analyze the climate change politicies realization in Lithunias institutional structural aspect. Research methods: scientific literature analysis, statistical data analysis and the documents content analysis. In this paper I have gathered and presented the newest information about the climate change policies formation and its implementation in a global and national scale. I have analysed Lithuanias institutions which are responsible for the climate change formation and implementation. Lithuania is carrying out its commitment to the climate change politics, but it isn‘t an area of priority in this country. The institutional structure has to be improved, the regional institutions have to contribute more to the climate change politics formation and realization. More rights have to be granted to these institutions. Also the country should educate its people about the climate change. |
