Master’s thesis contains structural and scientific parts of a project of sports hall building in Kretinga city. Structural part consists of designs of these load-bearing structures: steel truss in sports court building using rectangular hollow sections, glued timber arch frame in swimming pool building, two different sections of pre-casted RC beams, pre-casted RC column, a foundation of driven piles and all the necessary connections related to the lateral structures. Scientific research was carried out regarding soil vibrations due to installation of driven piles. Fundamental laws of soil vibrations have been reviewed. Also necessary data about existing empiric soil vibrations’ propagation models has been collected. Using reviewed empiric models, calculations were carried out and precision of them have been compared. Also results have been compared with recommended limit values of vibrations propagation in soil. |
