Abstract [eng] |
In this work, clove essential oil, eugenol and cinnamic aldehyde were immobilized in starch sodium octenyl succinate in order to study the properties of the obtained emulsions and to evaluate the possibilities of application in active paper preparation. During this work, emulsions containing clove essential oil, eugenol and cinnamic aldehyde were prepared, depending on the amount of the active compound in them - 2.5%, 5% and 10% of the total mass of the emulsion. In order to investigate the stability of the emulsions and determine the most suitable compositions of essential oils and sodium starch octenyl succinate, the samples were stored for 14 days at 5, 20 and 40 °C and stability tests were performed to determine the droplet size, pH, PI, turbidity, sedimentation and creaming. |
