Abstract [eng] The purpose of this project is to design the Workshop which will produce 100000 tones of Supplementary Cementitious Materials from Expanded Clay Combustion Dust per year. Raw materials of the product are Dust collected in electcrostatic filters during the Combustion of Expanded Clay from Czech Republic and Slovakia Expanded Clay factories. During research work, effect of thermal activation of Expanded Clay Dust on their puzzolanic activity and the influence of the physical, hydration and mechanical properties of cement were evaluated. Cement samples were formed by adding up to 30 % thermally activated Expanded Clay waste and 20% original waste. Research has shown that up to 25% of Portland cement can be replaced with a thermally activated additive without reducing the compressive strength of cement samples. In the technological part, the Production method and suitable technological equipment are selected and Material balance and equipment characteristics are calculated The construction solutions of the production Workshop are selected and evaluated, economic and financial calculations of the company, environmental and workplace safety and health evaluation are performed. The graphic part presents the basic technological scheme, the plan of the factory site, the layout of the building's premises and main facilities and their cross-section.
