The aim of the Master's thesis is to develop a methodology for the improvement of Quality Management Processes and use it to improve the Quality Management Process of the company under study. This thesis investigates a printing company whose business processes are continuously being improved, but some of them require a lot of time to monitor the processes themselves and their results. One such process is the Quality Management Process. This process is important because the company is ISO9001:2015 certified, thus committing itself to strictly follow, improve, monitor, and analyze the quality process to maintain the highest quality standards. The company has a Quality Management Process (Quality Management System - QMS) as required by the ISO standard, but it is not digitized. Recognizing this problem and realizing that digitization is the future of every company, the research printing company wants to improve its Quality Management Process and digitize the most problematic activities to remain a competitive and growing company in both the local and the global market. This thesis analyses the principles of business process management, aspects of the application of specialized business process management systems, and existing methods of business process improvement. The thesis describes the specifics of order quality management and the proposed ways of improving this process. Based on the results of the analysis, a methodology for improving order quality management processes is developed and applied in the case company. Based on the improved process, the company's order quality management system is designed and implemented in a business process management platform. The developed business process improvement methodology and the implemented solution are also experimentally evaluated. |
