The main objective of the final project- to improve students` learning motivation, and the quality of education by designing and testing the most appropriate coding learning environment for students with different need. The sociological survey has been participated by respondents of III grades students and they have been lacked of a single environment programming, where they could be written programs, study theory material, take tests, share and collaborate on the programs they had developed and analyse programs. As per the data of the sociological study, it was decided to integrate the Moodle environment for teaching programming into the learning management system used. Therefore, an environment model was developed and integrate into VMA Moodle. This programme has been tested and used in Vievis Gymnasium as teaching/ learning tool. The evaluation of installed environment for learning programming was questionnaire by students. The evaluation of the environment for teaching programming was very well, and some comments should be taken into account and improved by providing more theoretical material and more varied tasks. Continuity of the learning environment is also expected: the environment will be used in the future and presented to the municipality`s computer science teachers. |
