| Abstract [eng] |
In the modern educational process, information technology plays an increasing role in opening up new opportunities in the process of teaching and learning. To interest, activate, consolidate knowledge of primary school students, interactivity helps to interest, activate, consolidate knowledge, which can be used during lessons and learning independently. The course of knowledge of nature in primary classes covers many topics that are wide enough and important in the older classes when learning other subjects (biology, chemistry, geography, history, physics...). In the lessons of the course of knowledge of nature, the worldview of students is expanded. If at the initial stage of learning students are interesting, there will be no difficulties, then even later in learning these subjects will bring joy and choose to study these subjects at the university. The master thesis deals with the problem of consolidating the fourth grade pupils' knowledge of nature before exams and examinations. The aim of the thesis is to create an interactive virtual environment that will help students to consistently review the material they have already learnt. The methods used in the work are analysis of scientific literature and documents, two surveys. The paper analyses the characteristics of fourth grade science learning, reviews existing and commonly used virtual learning tools, environments, and general curricula. The possibilities of developing a fourth grade course in a virtual environment in the Jesuit school in Šiauliai are examined in detail and a study is conducted to find out the opinion of teachers about the possibility of having such a course in the planned school. The product developed to address the intended problem is a structured virtual environment for fourth grade students, enriched with interactive presentations. Its relevance to users' needs is investigated. It is expected that this interactive virtual environment will help fourth grade pupils to better prepare for examinations, enhance their knowledge and skills in the subject of science, increase their motivation to learn and encourage active participation in the educational process. An interactive virtual environment, "Nature Course for Fourth Graders", is developed on the "Genially" online platform, with a fourth-grade nature course. This tool will make it easier and less time-consuming for teachers to prepare the fourth grade nature lessons and allow more time for hands-on activities during the lessons. It is another tool for educators that will be developed in response to recommendations from educators, students or parents themselves. Continuity is also foreseen: if the tool is used, this type of tool can be developed for other primary classes. |
