This master's final degree project aims to investigate the optimal needs of mega charging hubs for heavy duty electric vehicles. While a lot of attention is currently focused on car electrification, it is crucial to consider heavy-duty transport's transition to zero-emission operations. Hence, this analysis will focus on assessing the demand for charging infrastructure dedicated to heavy-duty transport. Additionally, it will evaluate the needed power of connection point and renewable source installation in the location could impact the hub. |
