Abstract [eng] The paper analyses official documents, scientific literature on inclusive education issues, reviews digital educational resources in Lithuania and abroad and their possibilities of adaptation for students with special needs. An empirical study on the content and use of online digital resources to improve the inclusive education process for students with special needs revealed that teachers use existing educational resources in the classroom. However, these resources are more focused on building students' social skills. In order to improve the inclusive education process, a digital environment for educational resources has been designed and developed, and a study has been carried out on the usefulness of this environment and the need for it in improving the inclusive education process. The results of the study suggest that the educational resource environment is necessary for the improvement of the inclusive education process: teachers have the opportunity to either directly use the resources provided in the environment in the preparation of lessons from an inclusive education point of view, or to adjust them according to the individual abilities and capacities of learners with special needs. Taking into account the opinions of the respondents, recommendations are made for improving and adjusting the educational resource environment in the future to improve the inclusive education process.
