The continuous development of renewable energy technologies has gradually transformed the conventional energy infrastructure and upgraded it into a modernised system with more distributed generation capabilities. Compared to electricity grids using synchronous generation, inverter-based grids cannot physically provide high inertia, which means that such systems require more detailed stability studies. Therefore, voltage stability analysis of renewable energy-based power systems with a large number of inverters and distributed energy sources requires appropriate analytical methods. |
